Connecting with the Lighting Community in Australia

WAC Architectural recently completed its 2026 Australia Roadshow, bringing together members of the local architecture, lighting and design communities in Melbourne and Sydney for two evenings of conversation, project inspiration and connection.

Held in collaboration with our Australian partner, Light Project, the roadshow provided an opportunity to connect more closely with local industry professionals while sharing the latest developments from WAC Architectural and exploring how thoughtful lighting can contribute to distinctive architectural experiences.

Melbourne: Projects, Ideas and Lighting Perspectives

The first stop took place in Melbourne, where guests gathered for an informal evening centered around lighting, design and real-world project experiences.

A highlight of the evening was a project presentation by Adam Meredith of MEGS Lighting, who shared insights from his work on Mona’s Library. Through the discussion, guests gained a closer look at the design considerations behind the projects and the role lighting played in bringing the spaces and their creative intent to life.

Stefan Bittner also shared perspectives from the brand, introducing our approach to architectural lighting and exchanging ideas with the local community.

Sydney: Continuing the Conversation

The roadshow continued in Sydney two days later, bringing together another group of lighting, design and industry professionals for an evening of conversation and exchange.

Building on the Melbourne session, guests in Sydney were able to experience Adam Meredith’s project story through a recorded interview, creating another opportunity to explore the thinking behind the projects and the relationship between lighting solutions and design intent.

The evening developed into an open and engaging exchange among attendees, with conversations continuing well beyond the formal presentation program. The relaxed setting created opportunities not only to introduce WAC Architectural, but also to listen, learn and better understand the perspectives of professionals working within the Australian lighting and design market.

Building Connections Through Light

Across Melbourne and Sydney, the Australia Roadshow welcomed more than 80 guests from the local architecture, lighting and design communities.

For WAC Architectural, the roadshow was more than an opportunity to present products. It was a chance to connect with the people behind the projects, exchange ideas and build stronger relationships within the Australian market.
