The light of art, the "fire" of inspiration.
"Where does porcelain come from, you ask? It must say I come from the wood kiln. You have to ask what the brick wants to be? It must say I want to become an arch." Architect Zhu Pei found Jingdezhen's most representative building material: brick from the porcelain kiln, and Jingdezhen's most natural building structure: the arch from the wood kiln, and utilized the traditional luan kiln techniques used in Jingdezhen kiln construction to build a building like the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum.
